Wide receiver Dominique Heath (4) announced he is leaving Kansas State to become a graduate transfer.
Kansas State lost a pair of veteran offensive skill position players when slot receiver Dominique Heath and running back Dalvin Warmack announced Sunday they will finish their careers elsewhere as graduate transfers. Heath, who led the team in catches in 2016 with 45 for 438 yards, finished his three seasons with the Wildcats with 95 receptions for 947 yards and seven touchdowns. He caught a career-low 22 passes last season. Heath, from North Carolina, said on Twitter he would like to transfer somewhere closer to home after his May graduation. Warmack rushed 101 times for 527 yards in his Kansas State career, used in a scatback role to complement running backs Alex Barnes and Justin Silmon, both of whom return in 2018. Warmack said he is on schedule to graduate in May. Among other Kansas State departures this offseason were receiver Byron Pringle and defensive back D.J. Reed, who both were early entries into the NFL Draft.
