... White prepped for Roger Harriott at University School and was named the 3A Florida Player of the Year as a senior. He finished fifth in the Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football voting and was a second-team 3A all-state selection by Associated Press. White was named the Broward County Player of the Year and a first-team all-Broward pick by the Miami Herald as he completed 176-of-256 passes (68.8%) for 2,201 yards, 22 TDs and just two INTs. He led University to a 13-0 record and the 3A state championship and anchored an offense that posted 346.2 yards and 39.8 points per game. He went 22-of-31 for 282 yards and two TDs iin the Sun's state-title victory over Madison County. White was also a standout baseball player and was named a Louisville Slugger All-American as a junior. He earned first-team all-Broward honors from the Miami Herald as a pitcher, going 9-2 with a 0.43 ERA.
