Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (28), who missed the last game because of a hamstring injury, is questionable for Sunday in Seattle.
Running back Melvin Gordon was a full participant in practice on Friday, but the Los Angeles Chargers listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks because of a hamstring injury. Gordon missed the Chargers' victory over the Tennessee Titans at Wembley Stadium in London two weeks ago and had time to heal during the bye week. "We'll see," Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said, according to ESPN. "I don't want to speak for Melvin, but if he's feeling well, I know he wants to play." Without Gordon, the Chargers were limited to 47 yards on 16 carries in their 20-19 victory over the Titans on Oct. 21. The week before, in a 38-14 win at Cleveland, he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns. Gordon tested his hamstring before the game in London, but knew he couldn't play. "You get all the way out there, you want to play in front of those fans," Gordon said. "I was excited. I've been wanting to play in London for a while. Then to get out there ... ." As for this week, Gordon sounded like Lynn when he said: "We'll see. ... I'm happy with the opportunity to go back out there this week (for practice) and make it happen again." Gordon has rushed for 466 yards and six touchdowns on 91 carries this season, in addition to catching 30 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Austin Ekeler replaced Gordon against the Titans and rushed 12 times for 42 yards and caught five passes for 26 yards. The Chargers ruled out defensive end Joey Bosa (foot), linebacker Kyzir White (knee) and defensive end Chris Landrum (hip) for the game in Seattle.
