Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard is active for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Bernard has been sidelined since Sept. 30 with an MCL sprain sustained in Cincinnati's 37-36 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old Bernard has 155 yards rushing on 34 attempts and three touchdowns in four games this season. He also has 14 receptions for 78 yards for the Bengals (5-3). Bernard rushed for at least 680 yards in each of his first three seasons with the club. He is a reliable pass-catching threat out of the backfield with 230 receptions in his first five campaigns. Listed at 5-foot-9, 205 pounds, Bernard has rushed 722 times for 3,055 yards with 19 touchdowns in 75 career contests since being selected by Cincinnati in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Also on Sunday, the Bengals ruled wideout A.J. Green as inactive for the game against the Saints (7-1). Green is expected to miss next week's game against the Baltimore Ravens because of a toe injury, according to multiple media outlets. Wide receiver Josh Malone, tight end Tyler Kroft, cornerback Darqueze Dennard, guard Alex Redmond and linebackers Vontaze Burfict and Nick Vigil were also ruled out for Sunday's contest.
