Air Noland vs. Dylan Raiola and Tavien St. Clair vs. Ryan Montgomery for Ohio State’s QB future: Recruiting camp insider

Published Jun. 16, 2023, 2:13 p.m. By Nathan Baird, COLUMBUS, Ohio — The future of Ohio State football’s quarterback position played out over two battlegrounds separated by a couple thousand miles this week. At the Elite 11 showcase in Los Angeles, current Buckeye commit Air Noland and former commit Dylan Raiola competed against the rest of the best in the Class of 2024. Those two will face inevitable comparisons throughout Noland’s time at OSU, especially with both annually competing for national championships in the expanded playoff. On this episode of Buckeye Talk, Stephen Means reports on where Noland’s talents showed up and how he compared to the other top talent in that class. Back in Columbus, in-state Class of 2025 prospects Tavien St. Clair and Ryan Montgomery worked out prior to one of the Buckeyes’ summer camps. Both are also scheduled to be back at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center next week. How much have St. Ciair’s body and game changed over the past year, and has that made him the most likely candidate to become OSU’s quarterback for this class? Keeping the focus on Ohio prospects, what is the latest with Class of 2024 top-100 cornerback prospects Bryce West and Aaron Scott?
